What was Megan Fox’s workout and diet to get in shape for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles released in 2014? Find out here.
Megan Fox always looks stunning when it comes to her physical appearance. She always displays an incredibly slender body shape in movies, videos, pictures etc. Fox is also considered one of Hollywood’s top female sex symbols. She appeared in films such as Transformers 1 & 2, Jennifer’s Body, Passion Play and The Dictator.
It was necessary for Megan Fox to undergo a fitness routine to get in top shape for her role as April O’neil in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. She did so successfully with the help of her personal trainer Harley Pasternak.
Megan Fox Workout Routine For Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Megan’s workout routine for TMNT was focused on strength which would result in the toning of the actress’ muscles. She did resistance training at least three days a week. The exercises were largely targeted towards Megan’s back muscles which were necessary to draw her posture back. She did back rows and dumbbell rows to gain strength in her upper back and the Superman stretch for the lower back.
Megan Fox’s personal trainer stated that Megan really adopted this great approach to working out. Focusing on strength was not a very popular workout approach a few years ago among women who were not athletes. However, more women are learning that strength training is actually a very beneficial component of any fitness program.
And by using a workout program that’s specifically designed for women with the right workout strategy, you can end up with a fit and toned body that looks 100% feminine.
Pasternak stated that Megan’s interest in strength-focused workouts started during her first pregnancy and has carried on through now. “She’s someone who naturally doesn’t love working out traditionally.” The fitness expert add. “she has really adopted this great consistency and this great approach to working out; it started during her first pregnancy and has carried on through now”
Megan Fox also adds in cardio with a machine called a Helix Lateral Trainer. This creates a balanced workout. Because, although strength training exercises will also burn calories and promote cardiovascular health, cardio training is still the optimal workout for weight loss goals and cardiovascular benefits. Megan also does circuit training which is an exercise method that combines strength and cardio in the same workout.
Megan Fox Diet Plan For Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Megan Fox did not make any big changes to her regular diet to get in shape for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. She was not overweight, so a really strict diet was not necessary. And Megan doesn’t starve herself. She relies on a well-balanced diet to give her energy.
Fox sticks to what’s sustainable and moderate for her which is a key factor when it comes to diet plans as well as exercise. Many people make the mistake of choosing a certain diet plan to go after weight loss or fitness related goals based on the idea that it works fast. But if the plan doesn’t fit your personal needs and preferences, you likely would not stick to it for long. According to her personal trainer, Megan Fox doesn’t do any “zero this or zero that” type of dieting.
She eats three meals and two snacks a day. She’ll have protein, fiber, and healthy fat at every meal. She eats the right carbs, but keeps her foods low-sugar. “Megan is living a low-sugar lifestyle,” said her trainer, which is a good approach that pays in many ways.
Fox prepares her food at home instead of relying on meal-delivery services. In the morning she’ll do a smoothie or an egg white omelet with some avocado as healthy fats. And it’ll be something like having hummus and cut veggies as a snack and a salad with grilled chicken for lunch.
